The Darling Hills are located some forty miles north of Cape Town and four miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. The soils in the area consist of decomposed granite and deep, rich clay. The warm summer growing season is moderated by cool breezes from the Atlantic Ocean.

Westerland Celebration White
This is a blend of 50% Chenin Blanc / 50% Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh topical fruit from the Chenin Blanc, complimented by cut grass from the Sauvignon Blanc, are the prominent aromas on the nose of this wine. A crisp, zesty, and fruity palate leaves the taste buds longing for more.
This wine is an ideal accompaniment to seafood, salads and white meat dishes.
The wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for the next year or two.

This wine is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Old-Vine Cinsault (30 – 35 yr old vines, dry land farmed). Medium bodied with a deep ruby color, this is a generous and fruity blend exploding with aromas of dark forest fruit and mocha. A soft and appealing palate displays traces of cassis and blackberries.
This wine is an ideal accompaniment to meats, grilled vegetables, and creamy flavored cheeses, like Brie, Blue and Cheddar.
