Wines from Spain

Mature Red Monastrell

Founded in 1957 Bodegas San Dionisio is located in the south eastern Spanish town of Fuenteálamo in Albacete. The harsh growing conditions imposed by the areas climate and soils ensures a slow ripening process and small yields that allows the Monastrell grape, the most common grape of the region, to be harvested in the later part of September and October. Employing the most current winemaking processes and technology followed by aging in a combination of American, French and Eastern European oak barrels the bodega is known for producing complex wines with strong personality.
