Nine North Wines

“One of Napa’s hidden gems.” Tony Aspler, The Toronto Sun.

The Nine North Wine Company was founded by two Canadians, Jim Gill and James Harder, long time friends and wine industry veterans. Working closely with their good friend and fellow vintner Jim Regusci the three have built a portfolio of small handcrafted wines where each individual selection is under complete ownership and guidance by at least one of the three friends. The goal is to produce only limited amounts of hand crafted wines.

The wines in our portfolio that are available include:

Ten Mile, California
Proprietors: Jim Regusci, Jim Gill, James Harder

Twenty Bench & Hullabaloo, Napa Valley
Proprietors: Jim Regusci, Jim Gill, James Harder

Regusci Winery Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon

Ten Mile Proprietary Red

"This works like a dream; whatever Ten Mile's doing, it ought to put out an instructional video on how to make a winning red blend." Jiurgen Goth, The Georgia Strait

This wine was based upon the classic field blends of California from the late 1800’s. Sourced from several dry farmed, old vine vineyards, this is a blend of Petite Sirah (46%), Zinfandel (44%), Barbera (7%) and Carignane (3%). On the nose are white pepper, black fruits and cedar notes while black cherry and blackberry dominate the palate. This wine has a fine balance and soft tannins.

This wine will pair well with pastas, stews and grilled meats. Drink now or can age for another 3-5 years.
