Russell Creek Wines

Larry Krivoshein started making wine in 1988 on a small farm nestled on the banks of a stream flowing from the “Blue Mountains” located in the southeast corner of Washington State. With a hand press and five gallon “carboys” he handcrafted full-bodied, stylish red wines.

Bonded in 1998 Russell Creek Winery went into full-time production. The wine press sits in the corner of the office and the “carboys” are used for holding the topping wine required to keep the barrels filled to the top during the two year aging process. The quantity of wine produced has grown somewhat but the quality has remained the same with Larry paying close personal attention to his charges. If you venture into the Walla Walla wine country and pay Larry a visit you will be greeted by a man who is passionate about his wine. He will share his enthusiasm with you and if you are lucky, he may even sneak you into the tiny winery and pull a sample from the barrel for you to taste and enjoy.

The wines of Russell Creek Winery have received acclaim in their home state along with consistently good ratings from Wine Spectator and other wine publications.

These are handcrafted wines in the truest sense of the word!
