Harlequin Wine Cellars is a small family owned winery. With great respect for time honored, traditional winemaking and up to date technology the winery strives to create wines of individuality and substance. Owner and winemaker Robert Goodfriend, seeks out sites that produce outstanding fruit and works with growers to manage the vineyard to deliver fruit that will be handcrafted into wines of distinction.
Harlequin Cuvee Alexander
Hand-harvested Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc from select Washington vineyards make up this artisan wine. Bright aromas of cassis, earth and mocha are framed by toasty oak. In the mouth this rich blend displays juicy black cherry and ripe plum flavors balanced by lush ripe tannins and vanilla nuances. 500 cases produced.
The wine is an ideal accompaniment to roasts, grilled beef and hearty pastas. Enjoy the wine now but could develop nicely with cellaring for two to three years.

Harlequin Jesters Red
This lovely deep garnet red table wine is blended with Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. It has bright aromas of cherry and earth and a mouthfeel of rich berries and spices.
The wine is an ideal accompaniment to pasta, or mild cheese and is a pleasant addition to any picnic or barbecue. Enjoy the wine now but could develop nicely with cellaring for two years.
